I second the Bella Bella Bella Dancerella, Dvd's my daughter has the one of the Disney princesses.
Asking for a friend. Does anyone know of a company, store or web site that has a how to do ballet dance movemnts for sale?
A mom would like to invest in a dvd for her daughter before she enrolls her child in the exspensive class and pay the registration and uniform fees. She would like to introduce her child to as much as possible to see what will hold her attention but would like to do so on a budget.

I am a dance teacher- most all places let you try classes for free. :) If she would still rather get a video though, go to any dance supply website and they will have them. Google dance supplies, there are a lot of web sites to choose from.
I'd recommend a community program if they just want to try out dance.
.... yes, the child can try out a class for free. MANY places do that.
ALSO, pay per month. Then that way, if the child does not like it, you just quit. Don't pay for entire year or for 6 months in advance.
TALK to the dance school, and say you can only pay per month....
that is what many parents do. Just ask.
How old is this child???
Ballet schools.... start kids at certain ages....
I know this is silly and not the answer your expecting but my daughter loves the show and books of Angelina the Ballerina. She picked up quite a few moves from the show. She even knows the names of the moves from the show.
However, my mom just signed her up for dance and she loves it. I also know that if your friend talks to the the school they most likely will let you try a class out for free.
Bella Dancarella is good .
Usually , at least our dance studio does this, they will let you try a class or two before committing and paying all that money.
