I am desperate for a good dentist for ME the mom. The dentist does not have to be close to me. I am willing to go anywhere for economical quality dentistry.

T. - I'm not sure where you are, but for years now my family has gone to Dr. David Gruber in Irving - on MacArthur off of 183. Near the Baylor hospital there in Irving (a few blocks farther down MacArthur). He is SO GOOD and he is very conservative - he does the absolute best job for you without charging you an arm and a leg.

I took both of my teens (15 yo son and 14 yo daughter) to two different dentists, because I was on a REALLY tight budget and they were due...I used a coupon out of the phonebook...my son went to Dr Claxton and LOVED it - he NEVER wants to go to the dentist - when we were leaving, he was ready to come back to see them next week! LOL! My daughter went to Dr Mitchell at Dentistry of Las Colinas...they were good as well...but if I had to recommend one over the other, I would probably go with Dr Claxton - the first visit was for a cleaning, xrays, exam etc...I think it was $45? Let me know if you have any questions!
My husband and I use Dr Jon Kolbensvik (Dr. "K"). He has done quite a lot of work on us both and we are both happy with him. The hygenist and staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. They also have 7AM appointments which really helps with a busy schedule! He is located on Keller Springs in Carrollton. ###-###-####
HI T.,
I strongly suggest you try Dr. Huckabee in Southlake, I believe he is listed in the Local Business Reveiws. His office is very caring and will take good care of you.
Miller and Miller DDS is a great practice! They do great with people who are afraid of the dentist, but are wonderful for those of us who aren't as well. Their practice is in Plano, at Preston and Park. Phone is ###-###-#### and web site is www.millerandmillerdds.com.
My husband & I see Dr, Kerbel in Garland. He is great! We moved from out of state a few years ago and had some "interesting" experiences finding a dentist until we were referred to Dr. Kerbel by some friends. He and his staff are wonderful, gentle, caring, friendly and ALWAYS call you by name from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. I feel very comfortable going to him and referring others to him. I don't know how he compares price wise to others as we have pretty good dental insurance that covers the basics, but I definately don't feel like he is out to get my money. Rather, I feel like he sincerely cares about his patients and their dental health. Here's his website which has contact information as well as directions to his office. www.drgregkerbel.com
Good luck!

I think having a good dentist is SO important. I have an amazing one - Dr. Ball. ###-###-####. My husband has gone to him for quite a few years - I've gone to him for 5 years (since we were married). I love him. There are many shady dentists out there - this man is wonderful. I completely trust him.
He's in Mesquite. At 30 & Belt Line. I drive 35 minutes to go to him - he's worth the drive. His office is EXTREMELY clean. His hygenist is wonderful - she's been there for years - which I think is VERY important.
Good luck!
