Defintely to the ER. My son had pain and it turned out he had pneumonia causing bacteria, just not full blown pneumonia. It could have gotten worse.
i would take her to the er or the dr. i would like to let you know thought that i had and still have this problem. my chest (in my heart area) would get very sharp pains that would get worse when i breathed in. i had an ekg on more than one occasion and the dr's never found anything. it's stress. when i feel myself getting stressed out for a while i get it. when i was young it was caused by my father and that stress. as soon as my mom divorced they chest pains went away for a long time. hth
