Hi M..
I JUST went through this with my daughter 7.5 months and still am going through it.
She would not eat anything, no rice cereal, oatmeal, barely, baby foods, i tried making food, nope she didn't like that either!
she only has one tooth but i started giving her cheeroes, gerber fruit and veggie puffs, YOGURT she LOVES, cheese she will only have a few bites...when i make pasta i cut it up and let her self feed. Also i will make pea/corn and let her self feed, pick them up.
I also found SOUP is great! I was eating tomatoe soup and she LOVED it. so i give her that, Apple butternut squash soup, even chicken noodle, chicken and rice, vegetable, etc. I asked her ped. about the sodium content and he was ok with her eating soups. Trader joes has low sodium soups that i have been buying! she loves this stuff. She just doesnt like the BLAND mushy food... I don't blam her, i wouldnt like it either!
Also i have found...she goes to bed at 6:30, so i will feed her crackers (she loves buttery crackers from Trader Joes) around 5:30 while dinner is making and then at 6 we all sit down and eat dinner, i feed her more food then and then at 6:30 i breastfeed her. She will then sleep till midnight and then nurse and then sleep till 6:30 or 7! Eating food has helped so much. I also give her food through out the day, even if it is just snacks it has helped. (she usually nurses now every 4 hours)
Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.
Good Luck and God Bless...
A.
