For larger groups Pump it Up is good, there's also Bounce-A-Rama at the Great Mall in Milpitas, City Beach in Fremont also does bday parties for large groups- wall climb, sports oriented, Kids Castle in Newark, Top Flight gymnastics in Fremont has parties

I saw a Disney Channel commercial about a little girl who for her birthday asked for shoes for children of another country. She wrote a letter to some organization for names and shoe sizes. Asked her people coming to her birthday that instead of presents for her, to buy shoes for the kids. At the party they packed up the shoes and mailed them off. I guess the kids wrote letters back thanking them and sent pictures of the kids in the new shoes.

Not sure if your 6 yr old is interested in something like that, but what a thoughtful idea.

We had my son's 5th birthday party at a local Gymnastics Studio, they lead them thru an obsticle course and the kids had a blast!! We invited kids from his school, so it was boy/girl appropriate. Bounce places are always good, zoo?
I know you have a gymnastics place off of Mowry/880. we used Airborrne in Santa Clara.

It depends on your budget. I would ask the kids some things they want to do and take it from there. And do you HAVE to invite that many people? My kids are 12 and 9 and we don't have a huge party. They are each allowed to invite 1-3 friends to a fun activity of their choice for their bday. They have done lazer tag, movies, bowling, Bounce U, Fun Zone's etc. So just a thought. I hope you find something that works for you. Good luck!

Pump it up. Not sure if there is one in Fremont, but I know there is one in Milpitas and I think Hayward. They have a 25 child minimum for the set price.

Do you have Pump It Up there? It's an inflatable warehouse space...if not you probably have something similar. Anyway I know that at PIU, when you book a party the party just automatically includes 25 kids (not sure about adults, but I think it was pretty open) regardless of how many you invite. This might be a good option b/c it will include everyone's friends and I think it costs about the same as a "normal" party about anywhere. They do basically everything for you, even cut the cake and write down the presents!

Another option might be a skating rink. I like the movie idea but wow is that a lot of M&Ms and Twizzlers! ;) Plus it would be hard to keep track of that many kids in the dark.

Can you round up some additional adult chaperones? If so, what about a movie party? Bowling (4 lanes)? Arcade? Swimming party maybe?
