6 Weeks Pg, Weird/almost No Symptoms

I'm 6 weeks pg and having weird/almost no preg symptoms. I took a hpt, which came out positive and now my doctor is checking the hormone levels in my blood. I will get results on Monday and do a follow-up test on Wed to see if levels are rising. This is my 5th pregnancy and so far it doesn't feel like any of the others. I currently have no breast tenderness, no nausea, which I had with my other 4 pregnancies. My other 4 pregnancies were all very similar, which is why I'm wondering if this pregnancy is possibly not working. I am fine if it isn't, so no worries there. Just wondering if anyone had breast tenderness come and go or dropoff and still be pregnant? Thanks in advance.

Hey A., Not to worry, except for my missed period, I had barely any (to no) symptoms at all with my last (and 5th) pregnancy. You will be fine, Don't worry. Good Luck to you.

I had the same thing happen to me. With my 2nd pregnancy I had no symptoms so I got levels checked and an early sono. Everything turned out fine and the breast tenderness and fatigue came much later than with my 1st (around 9wks). Hope that helps.

This is my first pregnancy, but I hardly had any symptoms. Hardly any breast tenderness, and if so, a day here and there, and no nausea or morning sickness. Only fatigue around weeks 10-11, but that's it. I'm at 25 weeks now, and everything has been pretty uneventful, and our baby is healthy and happy so far. Other moms I've talked to have had very different pregnancies from one to the next, so maybe your 5th is finally giving you a much needed break from the symptoms of your 4 others :)
Congratulations!

only symptom i had with second was that i had to always have something in my stomach. didnt feel hungry just had to munch all day. with my first i felt normal for a month then extreemly nautious for a month then perfectly normal the rest of the pregnancy. although your first 4 were the same doesnt mean the 5th will be too. really there isnt much of a way for us to really know what is or isnt going on in there unless dr does u/s blood test or we miscarry. dont worry as that wont help and can hurt if anything. good luck

Hi A.. When I was pregnant with my son (which was my first pregnancy), I had a couple of days at about 9-1/2 weeks--when all my first trimester symptoms just stopped. I called my midwife and we did an ultrasound, and everything was fine. The next day, all those symptoms returned. I went on to have a very normal, uneventful pregnancy, and he's now a healthy 3-1/2 year old. I hope everything is fine for you, too!

I did have that happen and it was an ectopic pregnancy. I'm not saying that is what yours is, but your doctor checking the levels in your blood is the first test to get. If they continue to rise, you should be fine. If they are dropping, it could be ectopic and would need to be taken care of immediately. Good luck!

All 3 of my pregnancies were VERY different from each other. The last one I had almost no symptoms besides exhaustion (working full time with 2 young ones at home) and the other two I was sick with. But my first I was sick the ENTIRE time until the minute she was born, literally. But they were all very different. I definitely think getting your levels checked is a great starting point. I wish you the best!

I have had four children myself. Just to let you know, the last one was way different than the others and I was concerned about similar things that you are mentioning. Every thing was fine with the pregnancy pretty much... my midwife just gave me the "all pregnancies are different" reason. I was of course still concerned because my symptoms and such were different. I guess that's just how it goes. Of course, there COULD be something up, but I don't think the symptoms you are mentioning would suggest anything.

first off, CONGRATS! second, you're fine! your body just knows what its doing by now. take it as a blessing that youre not having symptoms! im pregnant with my 3rd, and the only way i know im preggers is i feel the baby kicking like crazy, and in the first 2 1/2 months my face broke out like a teenager. other than that, i have no cravings, no nausea, no breast tenderness, NOTHING... and its wonderful :) my belly popped out at like 12 weeks, and now im 19 weeks and im not really a whole lot bigger, i just started showing way early. so again, congrats on the pregnancy! with four other kids i hope they give you lots of help instead of headaches :)

Every pregnancy is different. When I was pregnant for the first time with my now 13 month old, I didn't have any of the normal pregnancy symptoms either. The only symptoms I had throughout my pregnancy in later stages is a big belly and peeing a lot. Good luck!

I've only had one pregnancy, but I had no breast tenderness. I also really didn't start feeling nausea at around 8 weeks, so maybe your time hasn't come yet. I also agree that all pregnancies are different. I think you should feel lucky that your body is taking it really well this time around! If you don't have any symptoms of real concern then just relax and take care of yourself :)

Lol, my first pregnancy was like that. Also including spotting and period like symptoms monthly. Had a healthy 7 lb 15 oz baby boy a week late with no problems. Thought that was what pregnancy was . My second one (8 yrs later) was terrible. I only craved my easy pregnancy. Both boys were 7 lbs. BE Happy. You are lucky. As long as your levels rise there is no need to worry.
