my lil bub is allergic to a gang load of things. wheat, egg, soy, dairy, cat, peanut...Anyway, we go slow and his pediatrician says that he will most likely have a reaction everytime we introduce new foods. So he is on meds, sees an allergist, dermatologist and a pediatrician. He is getting better now. It did start around 3 mos of age and he is now 10 mos. I still breastfeed and try to avoid the biggies on his no no list. However, I can't avoid all things and he does need to be exposed to different things slowly. I don't give him anything with wheat, egg, dairy, peanut or soy eventhough I do eat things with wheat, dairy or soy. Oh and baked goods that have egg but never egg dishes itself. Hope this helps your peace of mind. When he has really bad breakout we put a foam on him (verdeso) but when it's not bad we put a cream (eletone) and lots and lots of cetaphil or mustela stellatopia lotion.
