if you want ideas go to the baby food isle in the store and look at the stage 2 and 3 foods. you could also grind up what you had for dinner too depening on what it was
My 6 month old has been eating solids for 2 months now. Currently, he eats 2 oz of solids at each meal. I grind up all my food and running out of ideas. Currently he's had squash, sweet p's, carrots, zucc, applesauce, banana, and plums. I just tried strawberries today and some say its ok to feed the baby and others say it is not. Does anyone have any other "safe" foods to feed baby?

Try egg yolk (take it from the boiled egg). Stay clear of dairy and nuts :)Good luck!
My son loved sweet potatoes, mangoes, peaches and avocados at that age, all sources of excellent nutritional value. Glad you're doing your own baby food. I definitely think it's the way to go b/c it's cheaper and more nutritious. Blessings to you, Beatrice
Hi,
My son loves papaya, mangos, and corn. I have the book 100 easy baby purees(or something along those lines) It is great. I would say there are 100 recipes in the book, but there are a lot of things I wouldn't have thought to try and they are all really simple.

Egg yolks, pastina, green beans, pears, melons. We also started to combine some of the items to make soups and stews.
Assuming you grind up everything - green beans, plain mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli, avocados, pears, cauliflower. That's all that comes to mind. Good luck and keep up the great work!
You can try green beans, peas, avocado, blueberries, pears, peaches, nectarines, plain mashed potatoes, pumpkin (you can get plain pumpkin in a can - my daughter LOVES it). My daughter is 7 1/2 months old, and I started giving her peeled red seedless grapes cut into small pieces. She is now using her gums and the one tooth that she has to chew food. If your baby is trying to chew food already, you can try peeled grapes, too. If you go to www.wholesomebabyfood.com, they have a lot of recipes and ideas for making baby food for babies at different stages. Good luck!
