That shouldn't be happening at 4. Take her to the doctor. Also, maybe use a panty liner in her underwear.
My daughter is 4 and for a couple of months now she has been leaking urine after goes to the bathroom. Sometimes it happens right after she gets up from the toilet and other times 5 mins later. She gets really upset and then we have a new set of clothes to change into. Not sure what we can do. Anyone else have experience with this?

I urge you to take her to the pediatrician. It's an indication something is wrong. Perhaps she can't empty her bladder. Perhaps the sphincter muscle isn't able to close tightly. Perhaps she has an infection. You need to find the cause and correct it. It's a medical issue.
I'm 68 and have this problem. The doctor tells me that my muscles have become flabby. It happens with age. I'm to do Kegal moves to strengthen the muscles. This is normal for my age but definitely not for a child.
It sounds like she may have a UTI.
I would check into constipation. This is a really interested article on it:

Just because she poops daily does not mean she's not constipated. (And if she is, it's not your fault necessarily!!).
Either something is wrong or she isn't empting her bladder all the way when she is on the potty. Try having her sit there for a bit longer after she says she is done instead of jumping right off afterwards.

Could she be constipated? My kids start leaking and wetting the bed when they get backed up.
As with Marda, I have this problem occasionally as an older woman. Kegel exercises help, and may benefit your daughter. But you really need a medical evaluation to find out the cause. It could be a problem with sphincter closure, or with the tilt of her bladder relative to the urethra, or some other cause.
Until you can find the cause and address it, panty liners may be enough to take care of the dribbles. I find that half a liner generally is plenty for me – I cut them and change them twice as often for no extra cost. Wishing you and your daughter well.
