have some ice cream, too. kids love ice cream. even adults do too. some hotdogs also. easier to prepare.
Hi everyone:-) im new here and i have a question.
Im having my 3 year old daughter's birthday party at Gymboree play and music from 4-5.30 pm on a sunday and was wondering what i should serve other than cake....there will be 15 kids age ranging 18months-5 years old.
I dont wont to make anything, keep it simple.there is no fridge in facility and not a lot of time to eat.
I was thinking like, marshmellow,m&m, sweets, chips and cookies /popcorn...and juice boxes and ofcourse a cake
what do you think? I would love to get some advice
thank you:-)

I think that's way too much. You gotta remember the party is just before dinner time for most families. I'd do chips or popcorn and juice at most in addition to the cake. No additional sweets that'd be WAY too much sugar.
I would skip the extra sweets and go for cheese, crackers, pretzels. Keep it fairly light as the kids will be going home for dinner after the party.
I would do crackers & cheese, fruit and mini-cupcakes. At that age, one or 2 minis each and they could hold/handle them all by themselves:)
For my son's 2nd, we did minis and arranged them on a plate to shape the number with chocolate and vanilla frosted tops -- a huge hit. For my daughter's 6th, we had a slumber party and each girl got to frost and decorate her own 5 minis -- lots of fun!
Why not some precut cheese, crackers and apples? That way it's not so much sweets. Also, turkey and ham rolled up. All this can be in a small
cooler. Have fun!
Fruit, pretzels, cheese cubes, juice boxes (to avoid spills) and cupcakes. The kids will be so busy playing that you won't need a ton of food.
You listed a lot of sugar added snacks... what about the cake is sweet, so what about some seedless grapes (red and green) and then the popcorn as you mention. Sweet, fruity, and salty! And a little more healthier than all the sugar added items? If you go with chips - most children I know love the puffy baked cheetos - which is salty and cheezy!
I have four grown children and two grandchildren ....
