So last night i went to bed very early (7pm) I woke up at 10pm with really bad heartburn and indegestion. It was soo bad that I ended up vomiting. Then this morning I wake up w diarehha and some braxton hicks. I feel really drained, I have been drinking a ton of water. I have gestational diabetes and when I woke up my sugar was at 76 (uauslly for me its around 85). Could this all be fromn the indegestion or could I be sick? I dont have a fever or any other syptoms. I am going for my nonstress test and ultrasound today, but just thought I would see if anyone else experienced this. I just want to sleep, but as we all know there is no rest for a mom (especially one of a 4 year old hehe). Thanks ladies, I am so glad to have you to talk to.

What can I do next?

Well, you may be sick, but bad indigestion can cause reflux so that you "vomit" up bile and some food. I know -GROSS! I've never had heartburn issues (except when pregnant), luckily, but my husband suffers terribly. The New Year's Eve I was preggo with our first (I was 7 months at the time), we rented a cabin with friends. My husband and a friend cooked an amazing RICH meal of venison osso bucco, roasted vegetables, cheese course -you name it. I didn't have a glass of wine or anything, but at midnight out by the bonfire I did opt for a flute of champagne. I don't know what I was thinking with the heartburn issues! I just wasn't used to having it, and about an hour later when I went to bed -the heartburn started and then the sour champagne and bits of dinner came back up -and some came through my nose! It was EXCRUCIATING -and soooooo disgusting! I also had diarrhea due to the rich food, I think. If you continue to have stomach issues, you may want to call the doctor. If you throw up more than once, you probably have a virus.

Towards the end of my pregnancies, I had to sleep upright in our overstuffed chair to keep the heartburn from making me ill.

Yuck, I had wicked heartburn while pregnant too, sorry. :( Can you take tums? I did.
I've also heard that the time of day you take your prenatals could have something to do with it, and what you take it with, you know?

Yes heartburn will cause vomiting. Im 37 weeks and luckily my doctor wrote me a prescription for heartburn medicine 2 months ago because it was so bad i was vomiting and couldnt sleep. I started getting nauseas and vomiting every day for the past few weeks, so you could be starting to experience the baby pushing on your stomach like I am. Try extra strength Tums and sleep propped up if you can.

Oh you poor thing. I can't help with the sugar question as I don't have any experience there but yes indigestion can make you vomit. I had heartburn so bad with my daughter and I couldn't keep anything down. However, the kids also had a nasty stomach virus a couple of weeks ago that was just vomit and diarrhea no fever or other symptoms. They actually were starving and then when they ate would get sick. Not fun and it lasts for about a week just to make it nastier. I would talk to the Dr. if it continues for more then 48 hours just to be on the safe side. Good luck and feel better.

I had the same symptoms with my 1st pregnancy the day before I went into labor. The doctor told me those are very common pre-labor symptoms. You are still a tad early so hopefully you get good news from your doctor and it is just your little one stretching out and squashing everything making all this happen! Good luck to you!
