Call the doctor.
It may be time and they should check you out.
I am 36 weeks pregnant with my third son. This pregnancy has been way different than my other two. I have now had contractions for a couple of months but nothing regular until last week. I went to the hospital and they said that I wasn’t drinking enough water and put me on bed rest because the baby is measuring a little small and they want me to stay pregnant for another few weeks. Well today I woke up and a few things changed. I feel like I am having the start of menstrual cramps. They don’t hurt it is just a very uncomfortable feeling. I keep expecting to see blood when I go to the bathroom. I am also having pretty bad diarrhea. Between that and peeing I am living on the toilet. Is this anything I need to be concerned about? I don’t want to call the doctor because she will just make me go in for another pointless trip to the hospital.

I would call the doctor and at least see what they say.
It sounds like what happened to me when the baby dropped way down. In my experience, after having 4 little ones, that was my body and the baby preparing for labor. If your cramping is consistent for an hour, I would definitely call the doctor. I don't know how long your labors are, but mine were longer so I would wait until I had a couple hours of consistently timed contractions before calling the doctor. Good luck! Your little one may be coming sooner than the due date.
Make it a GREAT day!

I agree with the other mom's call your doctor. I had the same problem with my last, I was cleaning, got done cleaning the house. I started having cramping like menstrual cramps, I thought nothing of it, took a shower, about an hour after showering, I was sitting on the couch with my husband and my water broke. My water has never broke, they have had to break it for me, but I live 30 miles from the closest hospital, I was scared. So if I was you, I would call and go in if she says to. Its better to be safe then sorry.
Sounds like baby's coming. I'd call the doctor since they want you to stay pregnant a little longer. You want to make it to at least 37 weeks, but 38 and 3(?) days can be crucial if there are concerns. Better safe than sorry. I know the trip to the hospital is a pain, but if you have maternity insurance, it shouldn't cost anything other than time (and babysitter?). GL! Hope that little guy holds on a little longer.
I had one relatively pregnancy, and one very difficult pregnancy. What I learned with the difficult one is... that it is ALWAYS better safe than sorry. I really don't mean to scare you... but my fiance's friend was pregnant and having cramps & waited until the next day to go in and the baby had passed away. She was around 35 weeks. It is more than likely NOTHING... but at least you'll know and like I said.... better safe than sorry!! Good luck- keep us posted!!
