Yes, but you need to not hang out for awhile.

"Bad romance" to me makes me think he treated you bad. If he treated you badly then i'd say no.

If it means it just didnt work for some reason, then possibly.

Whatever it means, you just have to make sure you are both in the friend place. Both have to be prepared to see them with someone else.

I tend to keep ex's at bay personally. My man is good friend's with an old high school gf but it was years after high school that they started being friends again and they were also friends since 8yrs old or something like that so, it can work.

I have done so with a few ex's. Including my very first Boy Friend. We met at summer camp. the summer before sixth grade.

I dont know how he did it, but we have always found each other....Even after years of no contact. He just shows up to say hi....He just found me again on FaceBook. He has kids now...So do I but it is fun just to hash out old stories with one another:)

I had an aquaintaince that turned to a brief intense romance... We became best friends. He's married now and I have a serious boyfriend, so we dont hang out and do stuff like we use to, but he is still a good friend. So yes, its possible but I would say its darn rare, and even I was surprised that we became friends afterwards.
