3 Yr Old Daughter

Hi moms! My 3 yr old daughter has been having tiny amounts of discharge in her panties. This has been freaking her out and has me concerned as well. I've questioned her several times, and she has no complaints of burning, itching, or being unable to tee-tee. Without those symptoms, I wouldn't think she would have a bladder or yeast problem. I haven't noticed an unusual odor and there is no blood. Anyone every experienced this with such a young child? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

If she takes a lot of baths-it very well could be a yeast infection-call your doctor or take her in if you are more comfortable. One of my girls is very prone to them and one isn't-one thing that really helped is only taking showers, we started this when she was 2 1/2 and now she is 8 and never has probs. any more. HTH

Not to scare you, but yes children that young can have hormonal problems. My daughter was born with an ovarian cyst and has had many problems that are hormonal related. It probably is nothing to worry about, but I would definately mention it to her doctor.

Hello M.,

First contact your doctor. Yogart is very helpful with yeast infections and such other infections. It is a healing method for the body and immune system, but we are not professionals. I have three daughters, and if this is that scarey for her and making her uncomfortable seek you doctors advise. I wouldn't want to chance my child's health and I'm sure you don't either. Good Luck to you.

God Bless,

HB
