Possibly asthma. My guy never had it until he was 3.5 years, he was snoring, coughing at night, I thought it was allergies. I tried honey and lemon and it didn't help, as it did when he had a cough from a cold, so I knew it was different.
My 3 year old daughter is been coughing at night since one week, at day time is completely fine. i feel she has mucus because she'l be snoring at night, and at times she do have blocked nose, but not to a extend that she is having cold.
the night cough, mostly starts at the same time, around 2 or 3 AM, she cough till she threw up, and then she will be relaxed and get back to sleep...what could this be, and do u have any home remedies for this..i have taken a appointment with her pediatrician for today evening...

Could be a variety of things like others have said, including croup. However, coughing at night is a symptom of asthma and was my now 16-year-old son's first symptom of asthma at that age. Good thing you are having it checked. She is old enough to try a little honey, but that is more for mild colds. Good luck.
Could be a sinus infection.
Could be reflux.
Could be asthma.
Coughing till she throws up, sounds like asthma, and nothing to take lightly.
Good thing you are taking her to the doc.
Post nasal drip possible.
