My baby is 3 months old and she has been drooling like crazy, sucking on her hands if she doesn't have her paci in and she has little lines on her gums like where her two bottom teeth are going to come thru. Could she be teething already?? My first son didn't get a tooth until he was 8 months old and I cannot remember what his gums looked like before getting a tooth. I have never heard of a baby teething so early. What did your babies gums look like before getting a tooth? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Yes STARTTING to.
My baby was 4 mos old.
The pediatrician said "No! Too early!" Hmm.
Well he was and his teeth came in earlier than most. Two weeks later i could see a tooth barely start to erupt.
Another two weeks and bam!
So I learned early on mom's sometimes know best and rubbed Baby Orajel on his gums.
Gave him Infant Tylenol when needeed.
Then Infant Motrin when his molars came in.

She could totally be teething. My first Daughter got her first 2 bottom teeth the day she hit the 4 month mark which means she was teething at 3 months. Although I also know that lots of babies start to suck and chew on things around the 3 month mark even if they arent teething so who knows haha

My son had four teeth by four months, and was definitely in pain by 3 months. His teeth always came in groups of four. I gave him a cold washcloth to chew on and used Camilia drops. They were a lifesaver!! You can find them at Whole Foods, or other natural stores. Here's a link, so you can read about them.

It's possible they will pop through and it's possible it might be another few months! My kids had "teething" issues as early as 4-5 months but go no teeth until 8 months. My neighbor however, her son started teething at 3 months and I though surely he can't actually be teething, but boy was I wrong! That kid popped through his entire mouth full of teeth between 3-6 months, it was crazy!!! So I guess anything is possible, although I think it's more likely for children to teeth around 7-9 months. I would make her comfortable with teething rings, washclothes, teething tablets, whatever and just see what happens!

Yup, sounds like teething to me! My son also started around 3 months and had both his bottom teeth in by 4 and a half months. Now we're getting all four front top ones in at the same time. . . He was drooling and sucking on his hands too, you could actually see the teeth underneath the gums getting ready to come out. Right before they cut through his gums get red and swollen and nothing can make him happy. I've found that a frozen bagel has helped him a little since it gives him something to chew on and it gets super mushy, its harder at 3 months because they don't necessarily have the motor skills to hold a teething ring in their mouths. Maybe baby orajel and tylenol can help if she looks like she's in a lot of pain?

Good luck to you!

Definitely possible, my son also had his first two teeth at 4 months old. However, the drooling and sucking is not necessarily the best clue. Babies put everything in their mouth and drool a lot as well. Based on those symptoms, my SIL was convinced my nephew was teething from the time he was 3 months old and kept talking about how they were going to pop through anytime. He finally got his first tooth when he was 9 months old. I would say if you can feel them just below the gums then she is likely teething.
