If you have a baby carrier, use both so she can have a little break from the stroller (I love my Ergo :)
Have fun, take lots of breaks, dring lots of water and enjoy!
We just decided to take our 4 year old to Disney World this week (long story!). My 3 1/2 month old will be coming along too. Anyone travelled with an small baby there? Anything appropriate for her at all other than hanging out in the stroller for 3 days while her brother enjoys the rides?

Dear F.,
Your infant's eyes have just started focusing. They strain of travelling with an infant rests on you. If you are breastfeeding, you know that you are restricted as to medicines that you can take if your resistance to viruses is lowered. Your infant may get off a sleeping schedule that you have him on and other variables that may trigger an illness for either of you. As long as you don't push too hard to see too much of do too much, you will probably make it. Just don't have a flight delay which messes you up. I hate to sound pessimistic, but, hopefully, none of these things will happen.
Just don't push to see everything and don't compromise your health.

Well pretty much just hanging out in the stroller or in a front pack on you or daddy is about it. The baby will enjoy all the pretty colors that he/she will see. A chance to get some cute pictures of the family, and your little bundle of joy with the stars of the park:) Have a blast.
Hi F., I have never been to Disney with a 3.5 month old, but my son was 10 months the first time he went. I will be headed there soon for trip #30! I just wanted to make sure you are aware of the baby care centers at the parks. They are wonderful for mom or dad with baby. There is a nursing room if you need that, there are changing areas, quiet areas, tvs and they can be a good place to just get away from the crowds and relax for a while. There is one in every park, just ask someone who works there and they will guide you to it. SO much better than trying to change a diaper in a public bathroom. As far as things to do..just the atmosphere, with the music and colors, and hopefully nice weather will be entertaining. I enjoyed sitting and watching people while waiting for my niece to ride the rides when my son was younger. Have a fun and safe trip!
You should get one of those baby carriers to wear the baby from time to time. I'm sure the little one will be bored of the stroller after a while.
We went to Disney when our boys were 4yrs and 4mths. We figured this was the last trip the 4yr old didn't have to "share". The baby did fine. Take advantage of the baby stations they have and know where they are ahead of time. And make sure you have a comfortable baby carrier/pack. If your like me you use your stroller as a pack mule. I sat out of alot because of the stroller and learned VERY quickly what didn't work. The infant seat in the stroller wasn't good to have because it was one extra step in folding the stroller up. And since every ride/show and most restaurants don't allow strollers in them we spent more time taking the baby in and out of the stroller than we did using it. It was a learning experience and we had a great trip. It would have been easier with a carrier of some kind though.
Babies that age learn by taking in everything around them. Your little one will enjoy all the sights and sounds of the parks as long as everyone remains calm and you try to stick to regular routine as much as possible. It should be fun!
We were just there with our 3.5 month, 4 , and 2 year old boys. The baby loved all of the action and things to see. Alot of the rides are slow moving so you will be able to go on most of them along with the shows. Just ask the attendant if the ride is appropriate for babies. Have fun!
Check out the mom's area on disney's website...it has lots of great tips for enjoying disney with kids of all ages...the mother's areas that others mentioned are fantastic! the baby will enjoy all of the stimulation and there are actually a suprising amount of things you can take a little one on! as disney says...you are never too old or too young to enjoy!! have fun...we were there in october with our son for his 4th bday and our 10 month old and they both had a blast, but i think that the baby had more fun than all of us!
I have with my 2 youngest. They both LOVED the music! Other than the obvious of someone staying with them and their usual care nothing. I had good experiences both times!!
Wanted to make you aware that if you both want to ride a ride you tell the operator and you stand there to the side and wait for your husband and son to ride and then you can jump in with your son and your husband can take the baby.
Also we are heading there in Feb and I have been getting a lot of great info from wdwinfo.com
Just so you know there is also "QUIET AREAS" that you can take the baby to to feed or nap, they are on the maps. They play quiet music and it is nice.
I have been to Disney when all three of my kids were infants of about 3-4 months. I did just fine every time. Even with my youngest who was on diuretics, awaiting a heart surgery (two weeks after vacation), and needed mega breaks from the heat (in August)...I did just fine. As a mom, you just need to be flexible. Get over the fact that the "schedule" may not be possible and you should be fine.
It's a great time of year to go. It's not too hot which is fantastic with an infant.
Follow the advise of knowing where the baby care centers are at all of the parks. Use the baby swap. Just tell the worker in the line you need a baby swap pass. Your four year old will get to do everything twice that way without the long wait. Honestly, at four years old, there are still some things that he won't be able to do too.
Enjoy and don't worry too much. A lot of rides you can take the infant on too.
Have fun.
