My daughter is 28 months old and her hair stands straight out. It is very fine and there seems to be nothing I can do with it. I am to the point I don't even brush it, because 2 seconds later it is sticking straight out again. Her hair barely even goes down to her shoulders. I have cut her hair 3 times already, I have even cut it when the farmers almanac says it is the best time to cut hair to grow fast, and nothing. Somebody told me to put vitamin E in her hair. Does anyone have suggestions??
Down to her shoulders? You are lucky. My daughter is 26 months, has never had a hair cut, and her hair is hardly even off her head! Hang in there. Lots of moms have told me that thier children didn't have hair until 2 or 3 and then suddenly exploded.
My neice had almost NO hair until she was 3. It started growing then and was long, curly and beautiful with in 6 months. Don't stress, it will start growing soon.
My girls did not have hair until they were almost 2 or so. My youngest still doesnt have any hair on top just in the back. It will grow out eventually. Cutting babies hair wont make it grow faster. I've asked a lot of people about this when my 1st daughter was little now she has so much hair that I don't know what to do with it on somedays for school.
Be patient and it will grow out soon.
Be patient? That's my only advice. Some kids hair just doesn't grow as fast as others. Sure, the kids with the huge mops of hair look cute with the hair ties and all ... but that's just not your kids right now. Stop worrying about it and love it for what it is right now. My son is three, has hair that is less than an inch long, baby fine and has never been cut. Such is life. Love it for what it is and not what it could be.
I wondering if you can part her hair down the middle, make two pony tails and braid or twist the pony tails?

My Second Daughter had that happend to her honestly she was 3 and still had crazy baby hair, what you need to do is bring her to a hair salon and start shaping her hair, that way baby hair will become her regular future hair.. That seem to work for my daughter.

My little girl is 30 months and her hair is barely down to her neck when it's wet! It's all fuzzy in the back and sticks straight out, especially after I wake her. I took my kids to get their hair cut at Snip-its (?) in Frisco/Plano off of 121 and Ohio, in the little strip shopping center in the Wal-Mart parking lot. They have all of kinds of hair products for kids. I bought a spray on mousse that I've been using on Katie's hair. It works great and doesn't smell.
Both of my kids' hair and the mousse was under $40. Not a terrific price, but one that I can manage every once in a while when my husband starts to make noises about cutting their hair himself!
Stop cutting it! Short hair sticks out. Meanwhile, if it really bothers you, get her used to wearing a hat?
I agree, I do hair....just leave it alone and let it grow...when mine was that little I would only cut her hair 2x a year. You are lucky it ia that long thats good!!!
