I agree it might be time for a toddler bed. Maybe bunking with her older sister for a couple weeks to get used to being in the big girl bed. Good luck!
My 23 month old daughter is not wanting to sleep at all anymore. She screams when we put her down in her crib until we come back in. Even when it's day light she still does the same thing. I try to hold out as long as I can wihtout going in but she screams so loud that she can't breath right. I have put her in her sister's room with the T.V. on for the night b/c I dont know what to do. She is fine in there now. Has anyone expericed this too and has any ideas of what it could be or what I can do to help her. I'm starting to get really worried about this because it has been weeks now and has not stopped.

I would of suggested melatonin, but today I dont. Melatonin doesnt work for everyone. I cant take it. I am awake for hrs if I do. However, I would suggest Calms Forte for kids. That worked like a charm.
MELATONIN! It really works. My friend gives all 4 of hers every evening. Maybe look it up on the internet or ask your doctor RE: how much and when depending on your child's weight.
Good luck!
At almost 2, kids imaginations really start kicking into gear. They suddenly can imagine stuff to be afraid of. My son was the same way at 2. It took a good year to really get him back on track. What helped, gradually, was a brighter nightlight, music (cd's of lullabies or relaxation type cds), giving him a child's flashlight to keep in bed, and using the baby monitor and explaining that we can always hear his room and will come immediatley if he needs us. Now he falls asleep in bed in like 5 minutes and sleeps for 12 hours straight. Hang in there...many kids do this at this age/stage. You are not alone, I promise it gets better.
