Sprinkle a few cheerios in the toilet and tell him he has to "shot" them. Sounds silly, but worked for my boys.
Good luck!
How can I get him to go in the toilet. This is has been a challenge for a few months and he just wont's do it. He urinated in a cup the other day and gave it to his sister.
Im not sure what to do
Thanks everyone. I thought he was to young to be trained as well. I tried the Cheerios he loves that...He thinks it so funny (I have a silly goose). He went as he dodged the cheerios. No I have to hide the cereal. I'll update you in a few weeks to let you know progress.

Yikes! My son has done this a couple of times. When he has I made him clean it up and reminded him where he can go. He knows he will get in trouble and have a time out if he goes potty anywhere other than in the potty. As long as he knows it's great he went potty but that next time he needs to go in the bathroom. If you catch him start then you can get him to stop and take him to the bathroom so he can finish. Once he's done praise him for going in the potty.
Our son watched dad a lot so he didn't need cheerios but I know others that it worked well for. He sat down for the first few months to get the hang of it, it helped with #2 also. Good luck.
Put him back in diapers and use duct tape around the waist of the diaper, not on his skin. Start on the back and bring the tape all the way around to meet in the back.
He is still too young. He will let you know when he is REALLY ready. You will not have these problems..
Some commercial bathrooms use a trick that works for grown men who can't (or won't) pee in the toilet. It's a fake fly that adheres to the inside of the bowl. The men, or boy in your case, instinctively try to pee on it, thus, peeing into the toilet bowl.
It's just a guy thing, I don't think their aim gets any better with age :)
Maybe he is to young to grasp the concept mom. Maybe a diaper is where he should be going. Good luck!
I would see if you can get him a step stool. I have heard some parents put cherrios in the toilet and tell their son to aim at the cheerios or putting in wads of paper so they can aim at them. I am sorry he urinated in a cup the other day and gave it to his sister. It is kind of funny but it is not the right thing to do. Good luck.
OK, I read your answer...fer sure on the duct tape!! :) Or it might be time to start potty training!
Hi, J.:
You just do what is right and redirect him.
He is learning how to master his environment. Don't get mad or
frustrated, he doesn't know the meaning of what he is doing.
Be kind and redirect him in a nice way.
Good luck. D.
OK, if he's peeing wherever he needs to be made to understand that is not acceptable behavior. If he's not potty training yet this is one way to get your attention that it is time and the cheerios trick might make it more fun for him. He also needs to be the one to 'clean' up his messes (you and disinfect later)
