2 Year Olds toungue!(RESOLVED)

It could be hand/foot/mouth. Does she have a fever? Look at her hands and feet closely. Do you see any blisters? Will she drink? If she won't drink or eat, it could be a sure sign. Call the dr and he will tell you to give her pain reliever and wait it out.

Or it could be a popped taste bud - those can hurt.

If you do think it's hand/foot/mouth - WASH your hands and everything she touches. It's not for kids only. I had it when my daughter had it and I thought I was going to die I was so sick - high fever and just needed to sleep.

could be hand foot and mouth disease.. which is just a virus. I had it and my tongue really hurt.
better ask the dr. as if her tougue hurts she may not want to eat ro drinkl.

Time for a trip to the pediatrician, IMO. Just to be safe.

Sounds like either hand-foot-mouth disease or strep. I'd take her to the doctor. So sorry!
