Hi! my son is obsessed with trucks, especially fire trucks....so we're planning my son's 2nd birthday party (in december) at a local firehouse where they will give the kiddos a tour and a ride in the truck....we'll do pizza and fire truck cake, decorations etc....we're going to invite kids from ages 18 months to 8 years old as they are friends and family!! but my questions are: will both boys and girls be interested in the firetrucks, etc? should we try to organize some other activities for the girls? for the different age groups?
I know these are probably silly questions but I just want to make sure everone will have a fun time :)
They will both love it! We just had fire safety day at the library and a fire truck was there. Both the girls and the boys were really into it!
Boys and girls will both love the firetrucks. They can play the same games and have the same favors.
My 5 year old cousin (girl) knows more about fire trucks than any other child I know. I wouldn't make a huge effort to plan something different,, it sounds like you are planning a great party for children of any age and gender.
Firetrucks are universally "cool"!

We hosted a costume party at a firehall last Halloween and everyone loved it, no matter the gender or age :) Hopefully, some of them can try on the 'turn out gear', cuz those make the best pics (when the little kids are standing in the giant boots)!
So fun! The girls will have a blast. My son will be 2 on 12/3 and we are having a dump truck party :)
