my DD sweats with teething too, I put an extra blanket under the sheet to help (it does!) because I thought maybe the rubber covering on the mattress was increasing the sweats. Seems to work.
Are night sweats and mood swings just part of the 2 ye molars? My almost 2 year old goes down so easy and bc of all the drool tonight I gave him ibprophen. Didn't think he had a fever. Then 440 min later wakes up all sweaty.
What else can I do to help him? He's moody and very drooly!

Sounds like 2 yr molars to me. When my son got his he had a high fever for a few hours and the next day he had his teeth. Nothing you can really do just pray they come in fast and keep him comfortable.
As far as the pain, I think the ibuprofen was a good idea but I think they say ibu for regular teeth and motrin for molars (ask your pediatrician).
Light but warm pj's.
Light blankets but enough to keep him warm at night.
Also, good idea to check on him in the middle of the night to see if he needs to be re-covered w/light blankets.
Hang in there.
The two-years are the WORST!! It took a few months for my youngest's to come in. During that time she also got 2 ear infections. Sad, sad. Hope your LO is feeling better soon!
tylenol, ibuprophen - which ever is your preference. You can give it to him more often than the label says or you can give him a double dose. My boy did the same thing with his molars - plus watch him for ear infections especially now that it is spring - he could have a little alergy thing going on too - mine did.
Sounds like it too me. I am not sure of the night sweats. but certainly fever, uncomfortable, irritable, drools, cranky. It should only last a week or two for when they pop through.
