Any "break up" advice when quiting a stylist you've had for years and have been pseudo friends with? I think it's just time for a change.
Any recommended stylists in Bloomington-Normal?

I go to Jenni's Salon. It is great. The two I use there are Ashley who is on maternity leave right now and Brooke. I do not really have any recommendations on how to break up. I do think honesty is the best policy though.
I see Jenny at J Considines and she is very good and is very good at accepting feedback on her haircuts. She says she would rather know what makes you happy. I have been going to her for over 6 years, she even drove to Chicago to do my hair for my wedding day!
I go to Irene at Colorific. They do great color there but I just go for cuts because of our budget. To end the current stylist relationship, I would personally not reschedule or cancel my next appointment. If you are concerned about running into her at wal-mart or something and feeling awkward, I would just tell her you are going to check out a friend's stylist for something different. Let her know you care about her and want to remain friends- if that is true! You pay for a service and you should feel freedom to go to what salon you feel like going to at the moment. :)
Good Luck!
