Hi J.
I do not get migraines, but I saw someone using it once and she was applying it to the back of her neck, just under her hairline and siad it worked wonders for her migraines. Again, not my own experience, but I hope it helps!
1. We are researching pellet stoves as a way to take the hit off our propane bill. Any experiences with pellet stoves? Brand, cost, experience, opinion, etc...
2. Head-On Headache relief product: Does it work? If so, what type of headache did it help most? I have difficult to treat migraines.
Thanks for any input!
Thank you all for your time and information...I'm curious enough to try the Head On, since many said it does work. I don't know what we'll do about a stove yet, but we at least have some good information.
Thanks again!

It might be a good idea to get a stove that burns both corn and pellets sometime you cant get pellets. My dad just bought one and he burns 20% pellets and the rest corn. corn is cheaper than pellets if you buy them right from the farmer. I grow his corn.
I have had good luck with the Head-on product, although I don't know how well it would work for "true" migraines. I suffer from migraines and the only product that works for me is a prescription for Imitrex. I use the injection method but they do have a pill form.
Hi J.
I have used head on and it did work great. I was getting migraines for a while and it worked great. I used it at the first signs a headache. I gave some to a friend and it worked for her too.
My headaches were related to forgetting to eat for to long, part of my low blood sugar thing. And food allergies I didn't know I had. Hope you can figure out what causes yours.
Oh check out Mother Earth news for pellet stove info.

There was a story about alternative heating, with the high price of gas, on Good Morning America a few months ago. Pellet stoves are great, they said. The pellets can get pricy though. Maybe you could do a search on abc.com for that story. We have switched to wood burning fireplaces. There are downsides as messy, house is dry, so it is a little more work. However, our highest gas bill this winter was $58.00 for a 2300 square foot house.
With regards to the headaches. Sounds like the headaches are a symptom of what is really going on. Have you ever done a detox and cleanse? You may just need to "clean out the pipes" and then start from there. I have a great detox and cleanse program. If you want more info. email me.
Enjoy your day!

Never tried Head On, but I do suffer severe headaches. They seem to come from neck tension. There's some good info on the web about neck headaches. I want to prevent my headaches so I'm always looking for that more than meds. Hope you get relief!
Hi J.,
Regarding migraines....I use a muscle cream on my neck and forehead when I have headaches but mine are mostly muscle tension and knots. What I know about Head_On is that they were making claims on their commercials that were not approved by the Government. It's a whole other conversation about our right to use what ever products we want to but Head On did have to change their claims on their commercials.I don't know what their active ingredients are.
Have you ever heard that migraines are because of a need for certain nutrients? I've had really good success adding those. If you'd like more information about them let me know and I can forward that to you.
PS Are you a flower gardener or vegetable gardener?

We have a corn/pellet stove. I appreciate you look into using a renewable resource that is local v. foreign oil. First I would recommend you have a ready source of corn/pellets/etc. The costs of the "fuel" vary greatly and you need the most diverse stove available. We farm, so it's not an issue for us, but neighbors use vary heat sources from cherry pits, to wood, to pellets, etc. Also once you start the stove, you need to keep it going for max efficiency. So in the fall when it starts getting cooler, you need to run the furnace and keep the furnace as a back up. However once it gets cold, like now, it works great! The heat is more consistent for us more like a wood heat v. forced air.
Don't know anything about the stove, but I do know of some natural products for headache relief. Let me know if you want info.
Feel better!
