My 13 month old son started drooling all the time around 2 months and had been a virtual nonstop faucet ever since. He wears a bib most days. His pediatrician has not had any concerns as of yet.
So, I'm pretty sure that's not a word but didn't know how else to say that :)
My son is almost eight weeks old. The last week or so he has been slobbering. It's not an excessice amount but my daughter did not start this until she started teething. He doesn't appear to be in the teething "pain" so I do not know what the slober means, if anything.
Any ideas?

It's normal, and it's also a good thing. I read somewhere that the drool is actually an immune system protection - kinda coats stuff and protects them or keeps it out of their body. Don't know if it's true, but it's an interesting explanation of why they do it so much.
I think it means he has Olympic Caliber Salivary Glands!
:)
(Least that's probably what my pediatrition would've said!)
my first son drooled practically from the day he was born. I had to keep a bib on him all the time or he'd be soaked. I think some of them just do that, I never did find out why, I think it's just normal for some kids. They probably just dont swallow their spit and let it run out all over the place. It's so annoying. I would hate it when he would have a cute outfit on and I'd have to cover him with a bib. And his neck meat was forever wet. My second son didnt drool at all. If there is a reason I'd be interested to know what it is.
It's normal - at that age, one of our DD's nicknames was Drool Bucket.
It's normal. Around this age, the salivary glands start working. My 4 1/2 mo old has been drooling for about 8 weeks- no teeth though!
he is probably teething mine cut his first at 5 weeks. :)
