i'm taking my 2 month old for his vaccines this week. I'm worried about him having any adverse reactions to all the vaccines they get at once. Should I be so concerned?

J.

What can I do next?

Concern about your childs health is never a bad thing. Ask the doctors lots of questions. If your son will be getting more than two vaccines, ask if you can space them out by a couple weeks so that your sons system has time to adjust between. Foregoing vaccines completely may not be an option as they are required by Anne Arundel County and the State of Maryland for admission to school at a later point. Others may know a way around that, I do not. I do suggest going to a couple websites to do some research before you go as there are some who beleive the number and types of vaccines may be linked to autism in boys.

I personally stopped vaccines for my daughter at 6 months. If I knew then what I know now I would have never started vaccinations.

I encourage you to postpone until you do more research on your own. I have tons of resources on my website www.SunshineOrganics.net

Take Good Care,
Cassandra

Pain and minor swelling. I got those bean bag got packs and wrap them in a towel as not to burn my baby and put it on it when we get home and in the car ride home as to bring blood to the area and allow the it to get the meds circulating faster as well as I give my baby Tylenol 30 minutes before and also give him an extra bath the first few day after getting his shots.

J. - my advice is to say no to the vaccines. You'll have a fight on your hands with your pediatrition but go ahead and fight.
I have 5 children and my older 4 r 21, 20, 19 and almost 16. When i had my youngest, i refused to let him have his vaccines till he was almost 2. I gave into my pediatrition on the Hep C vaccine (reluctantly) when Shane was about 2 mo.
Here's why i waited. Your nervous system doesn't develop fully till your 2 yrs old. When you pump all these vaccines into an infant that doesn't have a fully developed nervous system - the body freaks. Especially when it's a live vaccine.
Last I heard there were 30 mandatory vaccines they need to have before kindergarten. Most of which are administered before the age of 2. I started studying herbalism about 2 yrs before I got pregnant with my youngest. My youngest, who didn't have the vaccines introduced to his system till 2, is my most healthy child and my smartest child.
My middle son and my youngest daughter both have ADHD. My oldest son and oldest daughter are always having health issues.
I just turned 41 last week - when i was growing up no one had ever heard of ADD or ADHD or Autism. Of course, back then, we only had, maybe, 5 or 6 shots before kindergarten. The MMR twice and maybe one other - not sure. And those shots weren't - boom, boom, boom - in the first 2 mo. ADD and ADHD are nervous system problems. It's a condition that has risen up mainly in the last 10 to 20 yrs. Autism is also a condition that stems from overloading the nervous system before it has fully developed (according to my education as an herbalist).
My youngest is the healthiest, most intelligent, sweet natured child you'd even want to meet. He's my herbal baby - the one i fought with my pediatrition over about shots - refused the shots till he was about 20 mo old. Fought them in the hospital over the Vitamin K shot and was threatened by the hospital that they wouldn't let me take him home without it. Bottom line - it's your baby - you have rights. The pediatrition (if u have a good one) will listen to MOM.
Here's a web site for u to go to get more info. E-mail it for info on vaccines and such. You'll be amazed.
