So, my 1yr old won't drink milk! I've tried everything, or so I think.... Chocolate milk/strawberry milk/drinkable yogurt mixed with the milk. She hates it. Tried warming the milk, still hates it. She gets yogurt everyday, but still. HELP!!!!!!!!!
By the way, the bottle is gone, so that's not an option. And I have bought almost every sippy cup out there. Still nothing....

What can I do next?

My children love "Kid Coffee" because I am a coffee addict. I made up the name to deter them from trying to drink my coffee. Warm milk with honey to sweeten it a little. I even serve it in a small mug for them to enjoy.

I agree, milk is not a necessity when you can use other foods to supplement for calcium and vitamin D.

Is there any chance that she might have a lactose allergy and feels discomfort after drinking it? I would contact your Pediatrician and ask for some direction. PS...Way to go on eliminating the bottle already! :)

It's probably not that big of a deal. Does she like formula? Give her toddler formula or breastmilk instead. Have you tried Soy milk or Rice milk? Maybe she'll like one of those. Are you giving it to her in a sippy cup or a big girl cup? Ask your doc for other suggestions and just try again in a few weeks. Eventually she'll start drinking something. Does she drink water? That's probably more important, especially if she's eating well. Serve her a well-balanced diet and she'll get her calcium and vitamin D that way. You could also try vitamins...

My kids were the same way so I did put the strawberry quick in and warmed it up. Then they were fine. I don't know what to tell you. Try different sippy cups that may help. Also keep giving it to her. She will eventually get used to it. It may take several days. During that time give her other sources of calcium. Do a search on non-dairy foods with calcium. You will be amazed at how many more foods there are that are calcium rich that you can incorporate into your child's diet that are other than the dairy variety. Actually there are more non dairy calcium rich foods than there is dairy. As much as pediatricians and the dairy industry push milk as the #1 source for calcium they are not nutritionist and don't know.

Don't worry about it, actually if you have done any reading about holistic and organic eating, you will find that we really don't need milk at all, we can get enough calcium and vitimins from vegetables and fruits. I am not a big milk person at all except in cereal or with a brownie! Relax, it sounds like she eats yogart, so that's fine.

My son refused to drink milk out of a sippy cup. The only way he would drink it, was if we used a regular cup and a straw. Believe it or not, he was able to use the straw at 12 months, and would only drink milk that way. He would only drink water out of the sippy. Try using the straw. Otherwise, I agree with what the others said, there are other ways to get calcium, fat and protein. My son drinks the Silk vanilla kid's soy milk and he absolutely loves it. You could try that. Good luck!

Your little girl doesn't need to drink milk at all, she just needs to stay hydrated, so if she is drinking water or juice she is just fine. You can keep offering her milk and eventually she might like it if not don't worry. Your daughter can get all the calcium she needs from other sources but it is up to you to find the sources and serve them to her. Broccoli is a good source of calcium and I know there are others. Serve her oj and other juices that are fortified with calcium. Tropicana OJ with calcium has a much calcium as a glass of milk.
Check out this website

and I am sure there are more out there.

She doesn't need milk. She should be getting her nutrients from food, not milk. Make sure she stays hydrated with water or watered down juice. Make sure she gets the calcium through fortified foods or orange juice. Check with your doc, but I am sure he can confirm that milk isn't neccesary at this age. Many more people have problems digesting milk than actually enjoy it. Don't force it and just relax.

My 16-month-old does not drink milk (on the advice of our pediatrician, long story, but anyway). She drinks fortified rice milk, but the doctor said even that wasn't necessary, that just water would be fine (he does not like giving juice to babies every day, even watered-down juice). The main thing is to make sure the baby gets enough fat, protein, and calcium from other sources: full-fat cheese and yogurt, avocados, meat, etc.
