Does anyone have any comments or can recommend any of the doctors at 1960 Pediatric Center-Lakewood or the Steeplechase Pediatric center in Skinner rd. I'm thinking of changing my daughters pediatrician and these locations are close to me, please let me know of any good/bad experiences you might have with any of these centers. Thanks in advance!

So What Happened?

Thank you so much for your responses, I will keep them in mind for future reference. However since I needed an appointment that same day and only the Steeplechase Pediatric Center was able to take us in on that day we choosed that center. The doctors we saw (two) were very professional but approchable and so were the rest of the staff. I liked that they were not too eager to prescribe antibiotics needlessly. I'm not a fan of children being prescribed antibiotics or other strong medicines carelessly. I also like that they have after hours and are open on Saturday, we were very pleased with our visit to this center, but I would like to thank everyone for taking their time to respond.

We have gone to the 1960 Pediatrics Lakewood (Louetta and Grant) office since my oldest son was born in 2007. I love this practice!! Both Dr. Worrall and Dr. Belinoski are GREAT!!! I highly recommend both doctors. I'm not saying the other 2 doctors are not recommended, we have just not seen either of them. The office has convenient hours, and even has after hours and weekend appointments. Good luck!

How strange you should ask this--I just took my grandaughter to see Dr. Worral at the 1960 Pediatric Center yesterday. She usually goes to their North Cypress office, but they had no appointments available there yesterday. Anyway, I was VERY impressed by all of the staff there and Dr. Worral, as well. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating, even when it came to getting parental permission for me to seek treatment for my grandaughter. The nurse who showed us to our room as able to engage my grandaughter in conversation--and usually she won't talk at all to anyone she doesn't know.

Dr. Worral is on the young side, but very personable and knowledgeable. We discussed what was going on with my grandaughter, and he gave her a thorough check-up.

It's true that I've only seen these people once, but I've had experiences in other pediatrician's offices, and I was not that impressed. I hope this helps you a bit.

Although I don't use her, my friend has recommended to me Dr. Anita Jimenez-Belinoski at the Lakewood FM 1960 Pediatrics location. If I wasn't satisfied with our current Dr that would be who I would switch to.

I use 1960 Pediatric on Louetta/Grant and they are wonderful. Have seen 3 doctors there and all of them are empathetic, listen and are very capable.
