what does it mean when my 15 month old is biting her nails?
That she found her nails and doesn't like them long.
It means that she just found something interesting to chew on... my daughter almost 3 still does it (toes too sometimes... ewww). Even though I try to trim her nails she still finds something to chew on.
It can be a self-soothing behavior...like sucking on your thumb. You can't really stop it and it's not a big deal. My daughters' both did it.
