My son is going to be 13 in July. I know that it is still a few months away but I wanted to start planning. I have no idea where or what to do. We have done Planet Pizza, bowling , and minature golf. I would perfer not to do it at home. Any ideas?
In frisco theres a getty town its a big kid version of chuckie cheese me and my son went and the olders kids had a blast and its not that far either. just an idea

What about renting a pontoon boat at Lake Grapevine and having lunch or dinner on it? A friend of mine did that once for a party, it was the smaller boat - holds about 10 people maybe? I don't remember it being that expensive. She actually rented it out from a place on 121 on the way to Frisco. She tied balloons everywhere on it and had food and you could do fishing too or having them jump off the side and swim.
I had my daughters bday party last year at Pump it Up, they have several locations and it's great! It is a facility with indoor bounce houses and games, like sumo wrestling and obstacle courses. I loved it and so did all the kids! Even adults! We will do it there for a while now! Look into it!

My nephew has had several laser tag parties. There is a place off of 820. They have rooms to have the parties in and you can order in pizza. Also Gameworks at Grapevine Mills is great for older kids. Hope this helps.
Have you tried having it at the Summit Climbing Gym in Grapevine? We had a blast having our party there!
I love www.lets-jump.com! It is GREAT and even the adults can join in the fun at no extra cost! Great too exp if you have kids of different age ranges or boys with a lot of energy! :)
When my son turned 13 we rented the local pool and had a luau. I got all the decos really cheap at Oriental Trading. We used a kiddie pool filled with ice for hte drinks and had hot dogs and fresh fruit trays (I made them alot cheaper than I could buy them) The kids swam and did the limbo. It was alot of fun!
Hawiian Falls is a good spot for a 13 year old.
