Ya! I am slowly getting there!! My inital goal is 130 lbs by the end of the year and my ultimate goal is 125 lbs for summer. I feel great and despite many hurdles I am getting there.

How is everyone else doing?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I think I started 6 ot 7 weeks ago. I bought a treadmill and have been using Mon thru Fri and doing a 30 min exercise program. I start out with 5 min slow warm up then it goes 3 mph for 30 secs then 3.5 mph for 30 secs then 4 mph for 30 secs, then running at 4.5 mph for 30 secs and then 5 mph for 30 secs and then it works itself back down to the 3 mph with the 30 second intervals. (I really do not know it is mph... haha I just didn't know the measuremant they use! so sorry if I am wrong on that, haha).

I also have been watching what I eat and did a big increase on water intake. I started at 145 lbs.

Lucky - I started back to work after 2 years off. So I have been around in the evenings just not as much during the day. thanks for "missing me" lol....

No name change - I think I was MommyX3! before...but I am Sam I am for a while - until my kids drive me nuts with the name and then I will go into hiding from them, haha... - totally kidding.

Good job!! Im at 122. My goal 115! If I could put the beer and cheetos down I would probably be doing a lot better!
I started working out at the gym 3 times a week. I am noticing a bigger difference in the way my clothes fit, just not the number on the scale. :( I dont know why Im so obsessed with the number!!!

You ladies are all awesome for taking control of your health!!! I lost 80 lbs in 26 weeks... my first 35 lbs I did no real exercise, once I did start though it just came right off. My body responds very well to exercise and I enjoy eating so this has been a must for me. If you are intersted message me, I have found all natural and organic extremely affordable supplements that helped me trumendously in the weightloss journey. They are very safe for nursing/ pregnant moms as well :) If it wasn't for these I would not have made it to my goal as quick as I did or feel this awesome through it! To those on weight watchers this is a wonderful program... just be VERY carful of the sodium in all of their foods! I am more then willing to give you my meal plan I did for the first few months, it is very easy and you are never hungry!

Good for you! I am currently 158 and I would love to get down to 135 too! I've been doing WW on line for 2 weeks and so far have lost 4 lb - but my weight seems to change so much even during the course of the day it's a little hard for me to judge. I hope it's real!

My eventuall goal is 120-125, maybe by next Christmas. I am no where near that about 160 now. My sister in law is getting married in June and I'm the matron of honor, I would just like to not look like a "mom" in the wedding. I am the only mom in the wedding party and I have a 6 month old who nurses like a champ, and I am constantly starving!

I am starting with upping my water intake and taking lots of walks with the kids. There are a few cardio dance videos on netflix that my two year old and I do together. It's fun and I laugh so hard it's gotta be burning extra.

Thanks for posting, I really need to kick it up a notch and it's nice to hear others success stories! CONGRATS!!!

Congratulations!!! I'm pregnant, so I'm not expecting the scale to go down...but this is the first time that I've been active during pregnancy, so I'm excited to see if I'll be able to keep the "baby weight" to a minimum!! My goal is to walk 3 miles/day and attend a Body Sculpt class once or twice/week. :-)

GREAT JOB!!!!

I'm a small person, 5'2, but in January was 152, YIKES!!!! I started working out and watching what I was eating but only lost about 10lbs or so. In found Bikrim Yoga and I love it!! I am 125 right now and am still dropping. My goal is 120 and it's ultimately 118, if it looks like I need to go down anymore.

I actually wore a bikini, not skimpy, this summer!

Keep up the good work. That's awesome!!

Great Job! My goal is also 130 (would love 125, but the last time I was there was before marriage and kids!). That means I need to lose 10 lbs. I've already lost 3 and that is from running (although I'm not losing much from it) and changing what I eat for lunch. All other meals have stayed the same. I also do some P90X here and there when the opportunity arises, which isn't very often. I just hope this winter doesn't pose any set backs!!!

Congrats on being closer to your goal!

Horrible.

I made and had cheesy toasted garlic bread and fried chicken last night and NO desert and gained two pounds. I ate a bowl of chicken stew, apples and had a BLT the day before and gained 2.2 pounds (I have a Wii weight program).

I guess I need to bite the bullet and get back on the 6-weeks Body Make Over diet again.

Glad to hear others are loosing the weight.

Good luck to you and yours.

GREAT!...thats awesome..135 would be too skinny for my build.

.i started at around 190............140 is my goal, Im pregnant right now though. Still working out every day and the scale is not budging at 168 but my tummy is growing. This means (according to the doc) that im losing weight elsewhere while gaining fine in the belly. My routine is suffering because of all my restrictions, but almost to month 5 of my pregnancy and trudging along.

I think I'll put treadmill on my Christmas list. I've porked on about 15 lbs in the last 6 mos.... and then will come the winter fat on top of that if I'm not careful.
I'm just getting older and not taking my newly, non working metabolism into consideration :(
At least I know what I'm doing wrong.... not moving much.
Congrats on your endurance!
Throw a few cups of hot green tea into your day, it really helped me last time I needed to lose some pounds. (note to self, by some more green tea Grandma).

Wow that is great! I can't keep a scale in my house or I'd weigh myself at least 5 times a day. I'd drive myself nuts. So last time I weighed myself at my parents I was doing alright. I am "skinny" or so people think, so it's all hidden in the mid-section for me. A number isn't as big a deal for me as not having a muffin top. I am ready for fall where my long jeans fit me better than my capri jeans (I hope they still fit!) I've been making sure to walk to the mailbox (about 1 mile away) to get SOME exercise. I am super non-motivated. I'd rather change my food than my exercise. I am eating more veggies and less meat & carbs, so I am pleased about that. It's finally getting cooler here in Texas, so maybe some jogs at naptime could be in order soon.

Thanks for letting me share with y'all. It helps motivate myself to know that you ladies are working hard.

@ Rachel: I thought you were going to sell that thing!
@ Sam: I agree. You have been missed. Someone said you changed your name?

Congrats and keep up the great work! I dropped 10 pounds last winter/spring and felt great. I just started putting a little back on as it is so stinkin' hot in Arizona in the summer- so hard for me to work out. I love doing long distance walking and find this is relaxing and really tones me up. It also gives me a break from "mommy duties". I used my droid (now my iphone) with a cardio/walking app that tracks my route and calculates speed and distance. I love having a record to look at each week. I like to eat as clean as possible and avoid as much packaged processed food as I can. You can do it! You are only 5 pounds from your 1st of the year goal.
