Hi, I need help!!!!!!! I don't know where to turn anymore who to ask.
For past month or so, my daughter who is 13 months now vomits every morning after she has the bottle. I try not to give her bottle in the morning and give her solids for breakfast but I started work recently and she is staying with my mom. I am guesing that she is upset because of that althoug she doesn't show but she started waking up in the middle of the night, 12, 1, 2 and so on. So in hope she fould fall asleep again I would give her the bottle and right after she finishes it she fould vomit. I thought it would be the milk which I swiched her to not long ago but then she would vomit every time she would drink it. Because she has the bottle every time she goes to sleep/nap. I used to give her Good start Nestle formula and then at 12 months I started adding Cow's milk Homogenized 3.25% with Vitamin D.
When this problem started I tried to give her just the formula and she would still vomit. I thought also that the bottle is not properly washed so I would wash it AGAIN right before I would give her the bottle.
It is important to stress out that she never vomits in the day time before the nap it is just in the morning.
I took her to the doctor on the November 3 because she got fever on the 31 of October and the fever would come and go for 2 days. The doctor concluded that this all is because she has Urinary Tract Infection.
I don't she any connection between vomiting and UTI. So please help. What this could be?

Thanks
NB

So What Happened?

I would like to thank you all for help!
Ever since I posted this question she did not vomit anymore. She has been waking up early and would have her bottle but no vomitting this time. Im so HAPPY and I think she is too.
Regarding the UTI the doctor called me after he got the Urine tests done and said that everything is ok with that. She is or was allergic to eggs. I didnt try giving her eggs ever since we realized that she is allergic and that was after 2 times she ate an egg. With in an hour after eating an egg she would vomit everything out. I gave her egg for the first time when she was 10 months and I haven't tried again.
P.S. I was allegic to eggs but I over grew it.
Back to the vomitting problem. I'm thinking that she might be feeling upset because I started work and she is not spending time with me as she did before. ( My husband is a truck driver so ever since she was born she was with me 24/7)
Before I started work she would sleep throu night and now she is waking up almost every night crying and after that she would eat the bottle and vomit. For a week now I am not working as much. In fact I only worked 12 h last week. Thats why I think that this might have something with me being away. Also, my mom used to babysit her but 2-3 weeks ago when the vomitting started my mom got sick and I had to get a different babysitter. Thats another reason that could cause this. At least I think so.
What do you think?

Thanks Again and sorry for making it so long.

Have her checked for allergies. I thought my daughter was allergic to milk so we give her the soy with dha but it turned out after I had her checked she allergic to nuts and highly allergic to eggs. And the egg allergy changes the way some of her shots must be given to her. If you find out about allergry young then you can keep her awway from that item to help her out grow it sooner.

Get a second opinion today. If your insurance won't cover it, look up public health clinics in L.A. They have great docs!

Hi NB!
would you elaborate on what else is going on? Such as:
how does she feel right before and after throwing up (does she cry before or after, is it just “happens” etc.),
how does the vomit smells to you (is it sour, sweetish fishy or any other smell that comes to mind)
does she make any funny noises or movements before, during or after
will she do the same if instead of milk it is water or juice she is drinking
what is the temperature of the bottle (room temperature, warmer than the room, colder than the room?)
and at last – how does the UTI was diagnosed – did her per ordered any tests to verify? What about antibiotics?
A little about me – I’m homeopathy buff and would like to see if I can find homeopathic remedy to fit her symptoms. Please ignore my post if you are not into it.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with your daughter, but since it's just in the morning, you might consider it. I'm hypoglycemic, which means chronic low blood sugar. When my blood sugar starts getting too low, I get nauseated. It gets worse until I eat. Most people avoid eating when they're nauseated or their stomach hurts, but hypoglycemics learn early to EAT when that happens. Mornings are very hard, because blood sugar has dropped overnight, so I usually wake up nauseated. Maybe the same thing is happening to your daughter, and that's why it only happens after that first bottle. Based on what works for me, you may want to give her 1/2 a bottle, or a small snack, and breakfast a short time (maybe 30 minutes) later.

Well, if it doesn't stop, you must keep being persistant until you find out the cause.
You could try a soy instead, have her checked for reflux, etc.
Don't rule out the possibility of allergy.
My youngest vomited every night for years and we never made the connection to milk. Neither did the Doctor. It wasn't until it got so bad that she would react instantly. She now has anaphalaxis and shock with even a teaspoon of milk in anything. It took a long time and I regret not being more diligant earlier. Interestingly, extensive allergy testing was 'inconclusive' but we know for sure, and our new Dr takes it very seriously.
Warmly,
L.

I personally have suffered a UTI that caused vomitting and dizziness, so it can happen. If the UTI was treated though, then she should be over the vomitting. Other causes could be an allergy, GERD or a hernia of the diaphram. Keep taking her back to the pediatrician until you get a correct diagnosis or a referral to a gastroenterologist and a treatment that works. It would not hurt to get an x-Ray because it could be a hernia which is very serious. Let's us know how this turns out.

It's unusual for a 13 month old to get a UTI- I would get a second opinion. There could be vomiting from a UTI but I agree with you that in this case it seems unrelated.
