Sounds like maybe it's a lymph node. Check out:

I would get your son checked out ASAP. It could be an insect bite or a lymph gland.
FYI-inflammatory breast cancer presents as itchy skin and painful breast tissue. (Does not present as a lump) EXTREMELY RARE.
Very often misdiagnosed as an infection. Usually shows up out of the blue to healthy people with no history and is indiscriminate of age or gender. Don't freak out. Just be informed and pro-active. IBC does not present as a lump, so I am sure your son is fine, but I wouldn't wait around. Probably a bug bite with a hive? Just see the doc I'm sure he is fine! :)

A. get it checked right away, it may be a bug bite and he is having an ellergic reaction, but you need to know for sure. J. Let me know what you find out.

Oh A.,

I would go and get him checked out as well...it could be the things the ladies mentioned above, but you always want to take preventative measures, because acting quickly has saved lives when it was cancer related. I'm not thinking it is cancer, sounds more like lymph node or bug bite. Please keep us posted on what you do. Below is some information I was given at the end of February, and I just cannot keep it to myself, when hearing things of this nature. My heart just sinks.

Like most people, we used to assume that if a product is on the market and highly popular it must be safe. Now, we know better.

Did you know that more than 150 chemicals commonly found in household products have been linked to human ailments, such as asthma, allergies, pre-mature birth, psychological abnormalities, learning disabilities and even cancer? We’ve been unknowingly and unnecessarily exposing ourselves and our children to some pretty harmful stuff…and here are some reasons why you should be concerned:

1. The government does not regulate or oversee the use or concentration of toxic chemicals in our everyday household and personal care products…because of the Trade Secret Agreements.
2. The rise of cancer, neurological disease, asthmatic trouble, and many other medical ailments… are all linked to the infusion of synthetic, man-made chemicals and our regular exposure to them.
3. The EPA has also expressed that the pollution levels in most homes greatly exceeds the pollution levels outside of our homes, because the chemicals that we use, are out gassing into the air that we breathe.

How do the chemicals in the transdermal patches such as those used to stop smoking, those for seasickness, birth control etc… get into the bloodstream? Right, through the skin! With that in mind, imagine your clothes as “patches” washed in toxic laundry detergent. How does that affect your immune system? Did you know that each of us has a different tolerance for what has been coined a “body burden” of chemical exposure?

4. Recently, scientists have coined that phrase “body burden,” to identify and measure the level of pollution in our bodies. The disturbing thing is that our children are testing for higher levels than we are, due to their rapid metabolism and the fact that they tend to be “down low” where chemicals settle.

Is there any doubt that toxins in our environment will have some effect on our health?

If you could create a safer indoor environment and thereby take one step towards creating better health for you, your children and for generations to come, would you do it?

The good news is that their are safer, more effective alternative out there. Please contact me if you want to know what I have done to protect my family and the environment.

Praying for you,
H.
