11 Year Want to Shaver Her Leggs

Is your daughter asking your permission to shave her legs? The reason I am asking is because when I was 12 years old I actually asked my mom if I could shave my legs. She told me that if I was responsible enough to ask then I am responsible enough to do it and she just told me to be careful. I had light blonde hair on my legs but it was very thick. If it makes you feel better try letting her use an electric razor instead of regular razor until she gets used to shaving and a little older.

Just my opinion, I would let her do it. I remember being that age and my mom not letting me do it...I actually went to my friends house and did it there. It's nothing like wanting to get a tattoo or belly button pierced. I know it seems like it's letting her grow up too fast. Good luck!!

My twelve year old shaves her legs. Eventually we all shave (unless its against your religion) Show her what to do. If she wants to continue it (cause we know that its a long term commitment) then let her. I do not see a problem with shaving the legs. I do see a problem of shaving the legs if they want to wear little itsy bitsy skirts. Then I be like oh no girlfriend! My daughter likes pants and sweats and sometimes she shaves and sometimes she will go for weeks without.

Let her do it. I think i was around that age too. Eventually she will anyway...and she may even try when your not looking. I know it's part of your little girl growing up but you have to let her grow sometime...
