My daughter seems to be feeling fine and has always been a "hot blooded" child, she sweats and doesn't like being in hot weather. However yesterday and today her stomach area has felt really warm maybe even her back some, she doesn't have any symptoms of anything or seem sick her appitate and bowels are all normal should I be worried?

What can I do next?

My youngest son would only feel hot on his tummy and back when he had a temp.
Have you checked her temp lately to see if she has one?
Good luck

As long as she is having normal stools I wouldn't worry just yet.... But that's easy for me to say. I worry about everything! :) Do you have a regular pediatrician you can call?

Hih L.,

I would check the temperature, if no temperature, then no inflamation. If you have a doctor that you can call it will be better for both.

And always ask her if something hurts. You never know.

Let us know how it goes, good luck.

As long as she is not running a fever or acting sick, is eating/drinking normally and having normal bowel movements, she is probably just hot-natured and fine. My son gets hot very easily, as do I. If she starts acting sick or runs a fever, then call the doctors office, but if not, she may just need light weight clothing and blankets.

Did she feel like that after she'd been playing? My son often gets a warm tummy/back after playing hard for a while or after he wakes up obviously because he's been under a blanket. I don't think you have anything to worry about unless she ends up with a fever.
You can always give your doc a call and ask a nurse about it.

I would call the pediatrician. Heat can be a sign of inflammation.
