I do agree with Alan. I am also an In Home Care provider, and I have a set schedule with the children. The parents and I are on the same page when it comes to eating, nap time (which is the same time for all the children), play time, movie time, outside time, ect... It has to work for both. I am no pro,and we all have challenges that we all must face and deal with, but she(Daycare provider) is working for you! It does take time for any child to adjust esp an 11 month old. How long have you stuck it out at each place? I advise that the parents drop in whenever they want, and some have even dropped in to take there kids to lunch with them or to have lunch at my house. I think it is great. We play school, where they actually learn. We paint, color, make crafts,ect....Structure is very important!!!!I am not licenses, but I also do not take anymore children then I am allowed, and I also do not overload myself or the other children. I am very careful about my day. I plan everything....but dont think things dont change,.....cause they do.I wish you lived closer to me, I would love the oppotunity to care for your child. I live in PA.
If you dont mind me asking....is she licensed? How many children does she have at one time? How much is she charging you?How many hours a day is she careing for your child?Nannies are not necessarily that much more expensive...check them out.
