My daughter has to do a project in honor of her 100th day at school. It has to consist of 100 items like 100 pennies in a jar, a 100 ants on a ant hill. It's going to be on display, so something crafty. we thought of legos or beaded necklace but those have already been done. Any help would be appreciated thanks mamas!

How fun is this?! I wonder how old she is and how meaningful she would want to go. In this world I would say a poster baord with funking and diffant print with "kind" words (joy happy care peace respect) and if you cant think of enough put them out there in differant languages.
100 kisses
100 sunflower seeds in the shape of a sunflower
100 corn kernals cob shape
100 smiles cut them out of magizines and throw in some of hers from pictures
100 music notes
100 pepsi caps
Good Luck

One of my daughters did 100 beads and we put them in groups of 10 on pipe cleaners and then put them on poster board. My other daughter did 100 balloons. Small ones like water ballons and we didn't blow them up, just stuck them all over the poaster board with double sided tape. I've seen 100 cotten balls, 100 peices of candy (all kinds and some in jars and other on the boards). One used skittles and made a picture with them. There were a couple of big flowers and grass. I didn't see it, but a friends daughter did 100 Barbie shoes.

I think if I remember correctly, we did something kind of fun for my daughter's class, we counted out 100 M&M's or skittles and made a picture out of all of the colors. Not only did it help her with the counting, but with the sorting of colors as well. Then we glued them to the poster board. It was fun! Hope that gives you an idea!

Well I was just thinking maybe she could do groups of ten items that are related to school or school activities. Like ten erasers and ten little pebbles from the playground if they have the small rock. something that can kind of relate to current events at school maybe. since you didn't say how old your daughter is if they have a sports team or cheerleaders maybe add little ribbons or small party favor balls. I never had to do this type of thing in school so I'm glad for a preview of what my daughter might have to do once she gets to school.
