how about baby vicks on his chest or pjs??
My baby has stuffy nose and was tossing and turning all night. He is very cranky right now because he hasn't slept well. Trying to clear with the bulb but nothing comes out.
Wondering what else I can do to help him clear his nose. Thanks!
Thanks! I will try the saline spray and also prop him up while sleeping.
Yes baby has seen the doc yesterday. We were worried because dad is having a miserable time with a bad bad cold , so we had the baby checked.I was worried about RSV. Baby is fine except for the stuffy nose.

I have had really good luck with vapor plug-in units (Pediacare Gentle Vapors) with all 4 of my children. They can be a little hard to find. (If you prefer, regular cool- mist humidifiers help some too, but I always found them to be a pain to clean.)
Hope it helps. I know what it's like to be up most of the night with a sick baby. The plug-in really did make a significant difference for us and can be used on babies over 3 months old. I recommend not using an outlet too close to the crib because it will be too strong. I also don't close the bedroom door all the way. I leave it opened about 5 inches or so. You can leave it open completely if you want, and it'll still help.
First use the saline spray to liquefy the mucus then use the bulb to clear things out.
Do not use the nose bulb too often, because it will abrade the inner nose causing pain as well.
Per our Pediatrician.
Try putting him upright as well.
Often with a clogged nose, it gets worse when lying down.
The brand "Little Noses" makes nose drops for kids.
Found at drugstores.
Has baby seen the Doctor?
.
Prop up the crib mattress (stick rolled up towels under it) so that when he sleeps, for at least part of the time he's more upright (at least until he rolls over, LOL).
Warm bath will help loosen the mucus. Get lots of fluids into him (that also helps loosen the mucus), and use Baby Vicks (test a small area of his skin first, just to be sure it isn't going to irritate his skin).
