She could be wanting to self feed some and eat some soft solids that she can eat by herself (soft, cooked veggies, puffs, cheerios, etc.). My daughter is very independent (unlike my son was when he was her age), and wanted to feed herself from early on.
My daughter also developed opinions about food about the same age (or a little after) that your daughter is. She used to eat anything with no trouble, but then decided she only liked fruit for a while. So, I would mix her veggies/dinners in with fruit so I would trick her into eating them! ;)
I would try finding something she likes to eat, or trying a bit of solids (snack or otherwise) she can feed herself and see if that helps. Good luck!
