You're doing great! Keep offering different foods to her and eventually she'll like some of them. She's just not used to the look and texture of the different foods since they aren't pureed.
Am I a bad mom?? My daughter STILL doesn't like finger foods! She's had EVERY type of puree in the world, I swear, we make her own food and she's had it all! But this weekend we tried giving her water melon, she spit it out. We have given her crackers, and she just spits it out. Bread, same thing. Cooked peas, carrots, everything she normally loves pureed we gave her nuggets of and she spits it out. Needless to say, we are trying, but she's still not into it. Are we doing something wrong??? Do we just keep offering??? I know EVENTUALLY she will eat finger foods, in the mean time, offering is all we can do, right? When is the absolute latest (as in age of child) have any of you have dealt with introducing finger food?
The way I see it,... I've NEVER met an adult who only eats purees, so eventually, she'll eat finger foods... right? :)

can you try going by half measures? how about blending things until lumpy.
Just keep offering. She will get it in time.
For finger foods, my daughter (9 mo) will only eat bigger things that she can hold onto and chew on, like toaster waffles, toast, Mum-Mums, 1/2 bananas, etc. Have you tried things like that?
We would just give the kids small pieces of whatever we were eating for dinner. I would eat and feed them the purees. They would eventually start exploring the finger foods on their own. Just don't turn it into a struggle. At 10 1/2 months she's not going to get any significant amount of her nutrients from table foods or purees. It's coming from the formula or breast milk.
You might also want to think about trying Cheerios or the Gerber Puffs. Those are what my kids started out on.
My son was this way too...with him it has nothing to do with taste, just texture. Keep offering a variety of solids...I know some people don't like them, but we had success wuth canned veggies because they are mushier. My son is now 19 months old, and eats a lot of things, but still has texture issues. Meat is the toughest to get him to eat. Good luck!
