I have had 5 pregnancies. 1st was an early miscarraige, 2nd resulted in the birth of my son followed by 3 miscarraiges. The last loss was 8 months ago. Since then my cycle returned to normal 26-27 days. I am currently 10 days late and tested negative on an HPT. I have been experiencing sore/tender breasts and let down reflex , frequent head aches and mild round ligament pain. I feel the same as I did with all my pregnancies. I was wondering if it is still possible that I am pregnant.

**more info..testing was done on the last fetus 14wk ..no cause found nor were there any abnormalities..was told there was no obvious cause. They reccomended taking a baby asprin from ovulation on incase there is a minor clotting issue?** Nothing else showed in my blood work either..

What can I do next?

Call your Ob, tell them you are late and suspect pregnancy, and that you need a blood test. I am sure with your history they will see you right away.

I would call OB as well. With my son (6th pregnancy, first child), I was 2wks late and got negative HPT. Called OB, they checked me about 4days later and did pregnancy test and found me pregnant, then sent me for bloodwork that afternoon - my HCG level was 53, as if I'd just gotten pregnant (ovulated really late) and that's why the HPT was negative (since they only show positive at 25+ and I wouldn't have had that 4 days prior).

Then they scheduled me for an u/s to make sure it wasn't ectopic.

Good luck!!!!!

It's possible. You need to go online and find a list of all pregnancy tests and see which ones are on the top of the list for most sensitive. If you go by TV ads you'll find those are mid-range and later. Some tests take longer to detect pregnancy. Wait a few days and test again.

I would like to say congratulations on your 5 pregnancies. Some women can't even get that far. Congrats on the birth of your son!

It is still possible. With your history, I'd see if you can get in to see your OB/GYN this week. She can do a blood test, which from what I understand is more accurate/sensitive than a urine test.

Good luck!

You still could be. You date of conception could have been later then you thought. It happened with my son, at my first appointment I wasn't as far along as I should have been going off my last cycle, by about two weeks.
