Ok, so YES, I'm incredibly bored at work today...

I have exactly one month until baby is born, and I'm making a list of all the things I should or would like to get done before I go to the hospital.

Anything come to mind? Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Well, Sleep and Sex are two things that come to mind that will soon go by the wayside (temporarily at least)!

Wow, it seems like yesterday you told us you were pregnant. Although I am sure you don't feel that way, lol.

Congratulations.

1 month left!! That went fast!

I know Spidermonkey said the 16th, but the 15th is MY birthday ;)

Theresa's dead on, SLEEP and sex!!

Get your son mentally prepared, that would be my biggest focus. Get him excited about staying with grandma and grandpa (or whoever he'll be with while you're in the hospital), have him help pick out the babies take home outfit, help get the nursery together, etc...

Other than that, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet while you can!

SO EXCITED FOR YOU!! :)

Do you have your bag packed?
Toothbrush, toothpaste?
Booties, slippers or socks?
lotion?
outfit to bring her home in?
Car seat ready to go?
Stroller ready to go?
Diapers?

From the Christmas cards you received this year - I would input them in my address book to ensure I have all updated addresses....and see if I can get the baby announcements ready from those addresses as well.

not sure how well your husband is in the kitchen...do you want to prepare meals for the 3 days you will most likely be in the hospital? so that all he will have to do is warm them up! :)

Schedule set out for husband for your son...if there is soccer practice, etc.
Your notify list - mom/dad, brother/sister, etc. have it updated with numbers and e-mail addresses so husband can call or e-mail the great news!

Is your son ready for this?
Is the crib set up?

It seems I have more questions for you!!! Hope my "brain storming" works!!

Re-do your address book. Get all your Christmas/holiday cards and check the addresses. Have what you need picked out for the baby announcements. If you can get the envelopes in advance, fill out all the addresses now. Then all you have to do is put the announcements in the envelope.

This month will either fly or crawl - the more "projects" you have to get done, the faster the month will go!

If your going to breastfeed, make sure to take the Boppy pillow along! Such a God send! And if your going to wear makeup, take along makeup remover wipes! ;)

Wow! That was FAST! (But it's not my uterus! lol)

PACK SNACKS! I was starving in the hospital & never got the right stuff that I ordered.

Maybe make a few meals to freeze? Soups and casseroles for the freezer.

Good luck, L.! Speedy delivery!

Pack a bedside labor bag - chapstick, lotion, hair ties, pen, phone, gum/mints, extra socks. My SIL is due with her 1st on the 31st.

YAY ME TOO!! Well, six weeks for me but close enough ;o )

On my list of things to get done before it gets too close is to have everything washed and ready for use. The last thing I want to do when I get home from the hospital is to be washing bibs, bottles, and clothes.

If you don't have family nearby or your hubby doesn't cook, I would cook some freezable dishes ahead of time too that someone can just pop in the oven for you.

I hope everything goes smoothly and you have a quick recovery!
