S.S.
as long as he's not sluggish and still waking up for bottles every 3 hours or so, he should be OK. don't let him go for longer than 4 or 5 hours without eating (even at night). def. check w. the pediatrician though just in case.
My 1 month old son is formula fed. Had some fussiness. Changed formula 5 days ago. Now seems to be calmer, yet sleeping more and actually eating less. He is still have many poops and wet diapers. I have called the pediatrition and waiting for a response. He is other wise acting normally. Should I have cause for concern or is this just a growth spurt or adjustment period? Thanks for any input!

Some babies just sleep more than others. Maybe with the new formula he is more satisfied. I think as long as he is producing poop and pee then he's fine. My twin girls were like this so I moved their feedings to every 4hrs instead of 3 because they wouldn't wake up to eat, and it helped.
My now 4 mo did the same thing at 1 month. He could be going through a growth spurt, but as long as he alert when he's awake and producing wet/soiled diapers he's fine.
Infants change so much, this phase you're experiencing is normal. As long as he is eating and going to the bathroom then he's fine and I see no cause for alarm.
Perhaps the book "The Vital Touch" by Sharon Heller will help you. Check it out by searching Amazon for it.
Good luck with everything.
