I'm a new mom living in Montclair in Oakland and was wondering if there are any clothing stores with trendy newborn girl clothing in the East Bay.
Thank you for your recommendations! I will go to each of them in due time. I just came across Waddle and Swaddle on Shattuck and the newly opened Tulip Grove in Montclair and bought a few things. I've realized how much these clothes cost so I'm being very choiceful in how long she can fit into them (the longer the better!).
Have you been to This Little Piggy Wears Cotton on 4th St in Berkeley? They have super cute (higher end) newborn-children's clothing.

Cotton and Company in Rockridge has Petit Bateau and some other nice high end baby brands.
There's a place on College in Rockridge- I think it's called Milk. I have a boy, and he's five, but every time I pass by I think this place is so cute. Congratulations on your baby, and have fun dressing her.
You can try Naartjie which is located in the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. I don't know about trendy but they have the cutest clothes that are not commonly seen.

Head over to Walnut Creek and shop at Broadway Plaza (outdoor shopping center). Lots of stores, some small boutiques that cater to children/babies. Also, take a stroll down Main Street while there (I believe there are a couple of baby stores there as well)
Another mom mentioned Lauren's Closet in Alameda, there's one in Berkeley on College Ave by Ashby. But I would recommend Baby Alula on Piedmont Ave., This Little Piggy on 4th Street in Berkeley, and Sweet Potatoes on Solano in Albany. There's also a really trendy french store on Walnut at Vine in North Berkeley.
