Searching for Home Daycare In/around Brookfield, IL

I am looking for home daycare options in the Brookfield area. This is our first baby. She's due early October and I would be looking for daycare starting around the first of next year. I'm finding it difficult to track down home daycare options, but I know they must be out there. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I have had two friends use Janet Segovia ###-###-####) and they love her! She is state licensed and provides early childhood/preschool curriculum. Home daycare is wonderful so I'm glad you are considering it :) If you'd like to get in touch with either of my friends, send me a message and I'll be happy to put you in touch with them!

Check on Craigs list, Brookfield website,

I am looking for one as well in the LaGrange/Countryside area.

Also, either Care.com or sittercity.com both you need to pay for, but the people are checked out. Also, they are removed from the site if you report them for any wrong doing.

Hi!
I am a licensed home daycare provider--not in your area--and I'd advise to try the local YWCA. Here they keep a list of licensed providers with openings as a resource to parents! I would also try Craig's List. A few of my long-term families found me that way!

Good Luck!

Also try your city/village hall. They often have lists. You might also want to contact some of the local grammar schools and see if they know of any.
