Preschool/Daycare/Nanny Recommendation?

C. - I would highly recommend two places. One is the pre school/kindergarten/day care that my children went to. It's run thru Berean Baptist Church and it's located in Burnsville just off of Cty Road 42 (major road in Burnsville/Apple Valley).

The other is a Montessori school in Apple Valley. I know the woman who owns and runs it. If you want her name and contact info, let me know and I'll get it for you.

I would recommend going to visit All Stars Montessori in Apple Valley. They have an awesome program and a great staff of teachers. Good luck in your search, but be sure and check them out:) B.

My daughter attended the YMCA Childcare in Eagan from 3 months until Kindergarten. She was very well prepared to start school. It also includes swimming lessons and other physical activities.

I also have heard wonderful things about the Tesseract school for preschool and elementary. They also offer before and after school care at their site.

We are currently enrolled at the Kindercare on Plaza Drive (35E and Cliff Road in Eagan) and have been very happy. I would also highly recommend Tesseract School in Eagan. It is a private school with Pre-K classes. Excellent program at comparable prices to regular day care centers.

My children go to school in the Eagan/Apple Valley/Rosemount school district. Well, the oldest does and our youngest just transitioned from in-home daycare to a pre-school. We LOVED our daycare mom and the only reason we moved to pre-school is that Dylan will be going to kindergaretn next year and as an August baby will be the youngest in his class and so we wanted to ensure his readiness.

Anyway, if you are thinking in-home daycare, Terri Warner was awesome. Since Dylan and his best friend just left for pre-school, I think she may have an opening. Let me know if you'd like her e-mail. Otherwaie, the pre-school we have used for both our children is the Southwest Area YMCA. They have caring staff, access to pools, extra classes in music and sports. They serve breakfast and lunch. Right now, pre-school runs about $210/week and they usually have a waiting list.
