I have a great one affiliated with the DuPage Health specialists right next to Edward Hospital. His name is Dr. Michael Fitzgerald. The number is ###-###-####.
Hi, We recently moved to the area and are looking for a pediatrician. Anyone have experience with DuPage Pediatrics or Hinsdale Pediatrics or the Office of Mary Lewis (Countryside)? Other recommendations are welcome! Thanks!
I have a great one affiliated with the DuPage Health specialists right next to Edward Hospital. His name is Dr. Michael Fitzgerald. The number is ###-###-####.
My daughter has been going to Dupage pediatrics for almost 10 years. She see's Dr Kelly. We both love her. Dr Gardner would be my next choice but all of the doctors are great. We have never had a bad experience with any of the doctors. I highly reccomend them.
I recommend DuPage Pediatrics. The staff there are great and the office is very child friendly. The Physicians there are very hands on. You don't feel like you are in a factory. They are very kind and you don't feel like you are being rushed. I have been with this physician group since June 1995 and I don't have any complaints. Both my boys have been treated by the physicians. My oldest son is now 30 years old and my youngest son will so turn 15 years old in June. The office hours are also great too. I hope this information can be of some help to you.
We go to DuPage Medical Group and our ped is Dr. Lo located in Naperville on Rolling Ridge. He is great with the kids and has pretty convenient hours and is flexible. I really like him and that group.
My baby goes to LaGrange Pediatrics (near LaGrange Memorial Hospital). We have seen Dr. Matray and Dr. Tumma. When I call with questions the nurses have always been helpful. Check them out at:
We see the DuPage Medical group pediatric doctors that are in Good Samaritan. I absolutely love them. An added bonus is that their appointments are ALWAYS on time. Your doctor is walking in the room at the appointed time.
We used to go to the office of Mary Lewis but my son had an issue with the scale being in the hallway. They made him strip down to his underwear but then insisted that he get weighed in the hallway. This was just at the time when we were trying to teach him that "private parts are private," so he (understandably) refused to get weighed. One of the nurses had a fit with this and the doctor we were seeing told us that we should come back when he was more ready. Well, if a doctor cannot understand a child's behavior then who can? We ended up returning to our pediatrician in the city.
We love Hinsdale Pediatrics, esp. Dr. Kathy Campbell. She is fabulous with our daughter and creates a very low stress environment. The nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful and they have an hour set aside every morning for sick visits that call in over night.
We just recently moved to the area from Boston and have tried both Hinsdale Pediatrics and DuPage Pediatrics. We like DuPage pediatrics better - we have seen Dr. Gardner and Dr. Davis thus far. At Hinsdale Pediatrics I always hated having to talk to a nurse just to schedule a sick appointment for my son.
I do wish that Pediatrician offices out here had sick versus well waiting rooms and e-prescribing, but that's another story. Good luck in your search.
My kids see Dr. Gardner at DuPage Pediatrics. LOVE HIM! The office staff is wonderful, the nurses are great, and we've never had a problem getting in the same day if we need to. They are great about returning phone calls and many times it's the doctor who will call you back.
I've liked almost all of the doctors. We had a not so great experience with Dr. Huang, but a good friend of mine brings her daughter to her and she has nothing but good to say about Dr. Huang. Dr. Lynch doesn't have the best bedside manner with kids, but he'll do in a pinch. Dr. Davis, Dr. Hall, and Dr. Kelly are fabulous!
I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician!
We currently see Dr. Hall at DuPage pediatrics on Plainfield. She's wonderful. I've never felt rushed or stupid for asking questions. My kids are 4 and 6 and she talks to them and asks them questions during their check-ups. It makes them feel like they are part of it, and like very big boys. I've seen at least 2 other doctors there as well, and have been equally impressed. The nursing staff is very friendly. Best of all they have evening and weekend hours. I've never had trouble getting in that same day for a 'sick visit.' Good luck finding a pediatrician that you feel comfortable with!
