Every sippy cup we've gotten is so hard to clean.Mainly, the part that goes into the spout. The lids are such a pain to clean and we have one sippy cup that is pretty much impossible to get perfectly clean. Does anyone know if easy to clean sippy cups?

What can I do next?

We used these & just put them in the top rack of the dishwasher! Cheap, so if they get messed up, you just toss them. Eventually we had tossed all the lids because my daughter started chewing on them lol Then she still had a cup to use with no lid :)

The First Years Take & Toss cups! They don't have multiple valves and spouts, etc to clean. Just the cup and the lid. My son has used them since he was about 10 months old all by himself, so they are also easy for little hands to figure out. We have just used the sippy cups so far, but they also have straw cups as well.

I always liked the classic tupperware cups with sippy lids. No valve, but usually turned out fine in the dishwasher top rack. The cups and lids stacked well, and we still use the cups after the lids were no longer needed. The only problem was that a few lids were destroyed by teething.

we use the playtex twist and locks. Throw them in the dishwasher without any trouble. we've also got a few by gerber which are transluscent and nubby on the outside, I forget what they are called, but they are easy to clean too.

Playtex

Take the double filter thingy, spike it on two prongs of your dishwasher. Take the lid and put it in a silverware cup (close the lid up the silverware thing if it has one, if not, wedge it in with silverware).

Voila.

If you don't have a dishwasher, I suggest disposable ones. Just rinse out and toss in your recycling after a couple of uses.

The absolute best, easy to use/clean sippy cup:

Its easy to clean, the top twists on, so a one year old can't just pop it off, and it does not leak easily.

just ditch the valve..... then they're super easy to clean.
really, your child should not be wandering around the house with a drink all day. they're terribly hard to suck on and by 6-7 months old, children can learn to drink out of a cup.
we did the "sippy" without a valve from day one. made transition to a regular cup super easy. and since I insisted on kids being in the kitchen on a chair to eat or drink - the "mess" factor was never really there.
