I am new to Apple Valley by way of Dallas. We are movingup permanently in a few months but we have bought a house and I need a referall for a handy man- painter- and housekeeper.
My husband will be leaving in the house alone until the kids and I move up in May.

You should check out Nook and Cranny. They are a concierge service, and they can help you with all three things. I use them for their cleaning service (a team of two comes in and gets the house spotless, and smelling delicious because they use natural products), and they also helped us coordinate our move to a new house. We needed a painter, handyman, electrician, plumber, insulator, closet guy, etc. and they found all of them.
I call them when we have a disaster, like when the water heater broke and flooded the basement, and then they come over and take care of it and when we get home from work, it's all fixed.
